This is totally heart breaking. It's all started on the friday night(Jan27th) itself. We sense something is not right with Efi. He passed his stool 2 times before he finally fall asleep. I already feeling uneasy. The evening itself, he spend his time eating 4 pcs of the small heart shaped chocolate from Famous amous, and we think that is the culprit. Come midnight, his body temp rising. Give him paracetamol and sponged him. Wake up at 3am, 38degree, sponged him again. Come Subuh, temp risen to 39deg. Asked hubby to get ready, we're off to hospital. Whilst hubby taking his shower, Efi pass his stool again, all watery. Dang. Cleanse him up, sponged him again, take my turn to shower n pray whilst hubby take care of efi.
I nursed efi tad bit and he vomitted. Cleanse him, put my tudung on and there u go, the first ever fit attack. For a mere 30 seconds, I feel the world collapsed on me. He is shaking, turning blue and my god, weak all over. We pratcially running to the car and rushed to A&E at APSH. He already conscious in the car, pointing at the wheel but still very blue and weak. Dr put on the medicine and a drip, temp at 39.5. Just imagine, my precious darling angel.
2 hrs later, he is all back to normal. Temp at 38. And found out blood test is clear, xray and everything is clear too. It is an infection from the something he ate(prolly the choc, damn it) caused the diarrhea and later cupe up his body temp rapidly. Damn it. I was crying, seeing my boy, with drip and etc. By 3pm, he is all okay, still have a low grade fever 37.6deg.
We found out the fit is a febrile fit[ http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/febrileconvulsion.htm ], not the epilepsy, so supposedly no brain cell damage, so I was not supposed to be panic. Got an extensive tutoring from the paed on how to react and what to do if it ever happen again. The risk is there ever since he got the first attack. So, we camped out APSH for 3D2N, come Monday Efi is all free to go. Thanx again to those who dropped by, the gifts, the phone calls, smses, emails and etc. You people are an angel.
This incident is something that i truly wanna forget but its hard to do so. I have learnt my lesson and I hope it will never happened again despite the risk. But if it does, I am at least now equipt with the knowledge and etc. Efi is one strong boy, fighting the sickness and I am so proud of him. He survived the attack, and stand still with the 24 hrs drip and back to his normal self with a blink of eye.
We did a follow up check last Friday(Feb 3rd). He is all ok. Growth wise is good, weight and height is all normal. His paed is so happy to see him all healthy and she did said that Efi is at his best. That's all I want for now. And I believe it goes the same to all the parents out there right. Thanx again everyone.

Pagi tadi papa efi baru cakap, untung kanak-kanak & baby-baby kat Malaysia ni, parents depa selalu dpt cuti panjang. Come to think of it, he is correct. Bermula esok, seminggu beb, cuti terus mak pak efi ni.
28 Jan -1 Feb: Efi and co akan balik Tganu
2 Feb : We will be back in KL, and akan pusing2 KL la hari tuh.
3 Feb : Papa Efi insya allah akan "terbang" for a business trip, so looks like we will be berkampung at KLIA <--[yahooo at 337pm, trip is to be postpone to March due to the unavailability of AMEX to send the card on time...boss kata postpone to march la..leceh. nyehnyehneyh]
4 - 5 Feb: Mama janji nak start balik kelas TT efi, So we will be TT'ing", makan-makan, golek2 kat rumah, plan nak bawak efi gi Borders (sapa nak ikut?), then ingat nak bawak efi gi Lake Garden hari ahad tuh.
So, all in all 8 hari Efi akan bermanja-manja bermalas-malas ngan we all to the max. Yes!
Anyway, untuk semua org, selamat balik kampung, jalan-jalan and everything. Pandu, Tunggang ngan cermat dan selamat. Selamat menyambut tahun baru cina and selamat menyambut awal muharam utk semua. Jgn lupa baca doa tutup tahun baru dan bukak tahun baru nanti okeh!

Finally, after every week/months of touring the mall, we finally got to bring Efi to get the gist of the park. Baru 1/4 way through, the battery 'kaput'ed already. Mama forgotten to charge it, ampeh tuls. Anyway, enjoy.

Upon hitting East Coast Expressway(Lebuhraya Pantai Timur), we notice Aki car's tyre creates some how a weird sound. We stopped by in a drizzling rainy day 200m past Gambang interchange and was shocked to see there's a 2 inches old steel stuck on the left side of passenger's side tyre.
We then slowly reversed to exit via Gambang and drove further another 8km to the nearest shop. It is not somehow advisable to change the tyre on our own coz for God Sake Rext*n tyre is very complicated. Thank God, the managed to fix the problem in a mere 10 minutes.
These are the only 3 snaps that mama managed to snap via her Treo. Efi was ecstatic seeing something unusual for him, and went berserk seeing the wheels. He has this wheels obsessive syndrome kan! Enjoy!

Since our trip was enroute to KT, we took the time to make full use of the 'laman' back in KT.
It was all shining that evening when we reached KT. We are so energetic despite the long journeys, God knows why kot.
